SABB Appoints Mr Saad Abdulaziz Alkhalb Chief Operating Officer

The Saudi British Bank (SABB) appointed Mr Saad Abdulaziz Alkhalb Chief Operating Officer, with effect from May 1st, 2015.

Mr Alkhalb returned to SABB after a two years secondment to the HSBC, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer of HSBC Oman. He brings with him an extensive professional experience spanning more than 23 years in senior administrative positions which included various banking service functions at SABB, HSBC and a number of other prominent Saudi banking institutions. Mr Alkhalb holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), graduating in 1992.

This successful experience of Mr Alkhalb reflects SABB’s policy for attracting high quality nationals and developing them to assume senior management positions. SABB is well posed to bring in to SABB the best practices from HSBC by providing international experience to its staff members.
