    How to Apply:
    1. Go to SAB Online or SAB Mobile Application
    2. Click on “Apply for SAB Umlaty Card”.
    3. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your phone for you to authenticate
    4. Product information page will be displayed, click next.
    5. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions and approval to debit your Current Account with the issuance fee.
    6. A confirmation message will be displayed and your card will be delivered by courier to the registered mailing address.
    Recharge the card:
    • Transfer from your Current Account to any of the wallets (eg. USD Wallet or SAR Wallet...)
    • Transfer from any of the wallets back to your Current Account.
    • Transfer from wallet to wallet
    • Once you select the desired amount you want to purchase in a foreign currency, a rate and a total will be shown prior to you accepting the transfer.
    • If you are satisfied with the transfer, click “Confirm” and the designated wallet will be funded instantly and the card will be ready for use.
    • If you are in a country that is not supported by any of the card’s 8 currency wallets, please make sure your SAR wallet is funded. All transactions will be debited from the SAR wallet.
    • If you want to use the card locally, you can transfer the amount to the SAR Wallet to use the card in the Kingdom.

    Complimentary Lounge Access, simply enroll in “Dragon pass” app to avail access and view eligible lounges.

    Smart Flight Delay Lounge Access:

    Smart Delay feature offers complimentary airport lounge access in the event of a flight delay exceeding 60 minutes. To activate this benefit, customers must Opt-in and register in Visa Smart Delay portal

    Extended Purchase Warranty:

    The Umlaty Card now offers an extended warranty feature, extending the original manufacturer's repair period for up to an additional year.

    Buyers Protection:

    Eligible purchases made with Umlaty Card are covered against theft, accidental damage, and non-delivery. Kindly refer to the Visa CEMEA website for the complete terms and conditions.

    FAQs:

    It is a Travel Card which allows the cardholder to have multiple currencies in a single card. Now you don’t need to queue up at an exchange Teller for foreign currency cash. Just log into the SAB mobile App or SAB Online to transfer funds from your account to your SAB Umlaty Visa card, then transfer funds to your foreign currency wallet at the available exchange rate. International transactions in that currency will no longer be subjected to any Forex related charges or markups.

    US Dollars (USD), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED), Turkish Lira (TRY), Saudi Riyal (SAR), Qatari Riyal (QAR), Bahraini Dinar (BHD) ,  Swiss Franc (CHF).

    Yes, you need to have an existing current/saving account with SAB in order to apply for the Card.

    By going to SAB Online  and clicking on «Apply Umlaty Card» or by downloading our SAB mobile App from the App Store or Google Play.

    If you are a current SAB Customer, simply go online to the SAB Online or SAB Mobile Application where you can apply for the card.

    No documents are needed as the application process is digital.

    Your limits of the card are a maximum load of SAR 40,000 or its equivalent (in other currencies) at any one time. A daily purchase limit of SAR 200,000 or its equivalent (in foreign currencies) will apply.

       

    • Should not exceed 10 transaction per day.
    • The daily purchase limit is 200,000 Saudi riyals or its equivalent in a foreign currency

    Using the SAB Umlaty Visa Card

    Once you have received your card, registered it and set your PIN, you can then load your Card and use it.

    After you receive your card from the courier

    Go to SAB Online or download our SAB mobile App from the App Store or Google Play

    Click on “forgot your password” in SAB UmlatyNet or in SAB Umlaty mobile App and it will then ask you to answer your memorable question. Once you answer it, a one-time-password will be sent to your registered mobile number to verify you, so you can then create a new password. If you have forgotten everything, you need to call the call centre and follow the procedure.

    You can use your Card at around 37 million merchants around the world including KSA. You can also use it to make online purchases. When using your card in KSA, you must have sufficient balance in your SAR wallet. You can transfer any balances in your foreign currency wallets to the SAR wallet to use Umlaty at merchants or withdraw cash from ATMs locally. Please note foreign currency conversion rates apply.

    If you make a purchase at a merchant for USD, only your USD wallet will be debited, with no additional charges for currency conversion. This works for all foreign currency wallets. On the other-hand, if you make a purchase at a merchant for a non-wallet currency, your SAR wallet will be debited and will incur a conversion rate to the SAR wallet

    Log into your account through SAB Online or SAB Mobile App and transfer funds from one of your other wallets to the relevant currency wallet at a favorable foreign exchange rate. Please note that you will incur 2 exchange rate conversion; first from the foreign currency wallet to SAR and then from SAR to the new foreign currency wallet. We recommend to directly transfer from your account to the foreign currency wallet.

    Yes, the Card supports online purchasing.

    Yes, and the daily withdrawal limit is equivalent to SAR 5,000 per day from overseas or local ATMs There is a fee applied for each cash withdrawal transaction equivalent to SAR 23 inclusive of VAT and fees for local withdrawals inclusive of VAT. Please see the fees and charges section in the User Guide and Leaflet Funds. to be withdrawn should be enough to cover the fee.

    Yes, by using the SAB Online or through SAB mobile app.

    Yes, if you fund your wallet before your trip, you are less likely to incur fluctuating rates and foreign exchange fees when compared to a regular Debit or Credit Card.

    If you travel to a country whose currency is not from the 8 currencies offered, then the transaction will be debited from the SAR Wallet and the currency conversion rates are applied to the transaction.

    No, the card will automatically debit the appropriate wallet depending on the destination. Although, it is always recommended to inform your bank if you are traveling to avoid any issues when it comes to using your cards internationally.

    Always choose the local currency of your destination. E.g. if in the U.K. select GBP, if in the U.S.A. select USD

    No, you must transfer funds from your SAB current account or from your USD wallet using SAB through your account in SAABNET or SAB Mobile. Please note that if you transfer funds from your USD wallet, you will be subject to two currency conversion rates; USD to SAR and then SAR to GBP. Therefore, we recommend you transfer from your current account or SAR wallet and you will incur one conversion rate e.g. SAR to GBP.

    You can spend a daily limit of SAR 200,000 or its equivalent in foreign currencies of your available balance in your wallets.

    Please select “Credit” and not “Cheque” or “Savings” option and this will access the available funds in the wallet.

    Reloading SAB Umlaty Visa Card

    Yes, you can reload the card from SAB Online or SAB mobile app.

    You will receive a notification through SMS or by checking your wallet balance through SAB Online or SAB mobile app.

    No, you can only fund your wallets from your existing current/saving accounts.
